nonprofit seeks (1) a Ruby on Rails developer and (2) donated ad inventory

Hello everyone,

Our nonprofit, http://ClassWish.org (described below), needs two things. Perhaps some of you might have an idea or introduction for us?

A Ruby on Rails developer (a firm or a person) who might be interested in providing a bit of pro-bono support. The site is already built, so we just need someone to add some small features and to be available in case of problems.

Donated media for our PSA web banners would help us get the word out. We seek donated residual ad inventory from ad networks or websites, including ones that focus on our verticals (reading, music, science, technology, sports, art) or target particular audiences (moms, teens, etc.).

Thanks so much for any guidance you can provide!

Best wishes to all,
Robert

About ClassWish
ClassWish, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, addresses the dire shortage of funding for K-12 school supplies and equipment.

• Teachers easily create Wish Lists, like this http://classwish.org/...
• Visitors see what is needed and make tax-deductible contributions to help
• Many businesses match employees’ donations, which can double their funding
• The teacher can shop at about 18 sites such as Quill, Best Buy, Guitar Center, and others to use donated funds as soon as donations start to come in.
• We have the vendor ship the materials right to the school.

It’s efficient! The full donation, less only the credit card fee we incur, is credited to the teacher’s account. We deduct from her account only the amount she would have paid if she bought the items herself. (No added fees!).

The result? All of us are united in helping kids get the support they need to learn and thrive.
