Our readers for the October 8 meeting will be:

Carl, Susan, and Sarah

Our backup reader is: Paulette

Will be great to see everyone.

Do keep writing.

Great set of stories in September.  Rodney, April or Barbara, let us know if and when you would like to share your updates! This goes for our readers from earlier in the summer too -- very interested in following up with your stories.  Perhaps our next "inbetweener" session (Oct. 22) can be devoted to this.  Do let me know here or at our meeting Oct 8 if this is of interest.

I feel like such a doofus ( read wussy) for having to cancel again, but am feeling a little queasy. As soon as I get used to the radiation / medicine, I hope to be back at the table. Hopefully by the next inbetweener ...BTW a great idea!

Is there any way that these meeting could take place on the weekend?

    would appreciate it. thanks

Good question, Padmini. The regular meetings are set for the second Wednesday of each month, but, perhaps, we can be more flexible with the "Inbetweener." I'll discuss with the group -- maybe try it in November.

Thanks for coming to the 'Inbetweener!' Look forward to seeing you at our normal monthly meeting Oct 8. The next 'Inbetweener' is scheduled for Oct 22. Do put it on your calendar, and we'll discuss what stories we'll focus on when we are all together on the 8th!

Great "inbetweener" group last night. Thanks for braving the weather!

Join us for our "inbetweener" meeting tomorrow, Wednesday, Sept 24, at 7 PM at the Barnes and Noble in New Hope. The group will be smaller which should allow for a more thorough discussion on the art and act of writing. If you have something you are working on and would like to share, bring it and we'll try to work it into the two-hour session.

jonathan or another, please remind me what the logistics when i am reading.

    September 17, 2014

    • Carl N.

so i read more than 6 pages, nearly twice that, in 20 minutes at a good pace...20 minutes it the key?

      September 18, 2014

    • Jonathan G.

Hi Carl, sorry for the delay. Plan to stick with six to eight pages for the moment. We have found that this length is easier for the other participants to assimilate in an open session (given they haven't seen or heard the piece previously) than longer readings. We want to be able to talk about the work and not be overwhelmed by it. We can adjust in the future if need be. Thanks for checking!

Jonathan, I hope to attend on the 24th. Depends on where work places me.

    September 20, 2014

    • Jonathan G.

That would be great. Let's hope you are in the area.
