The ABC's of User Experience Design

The practice of UX is the fastest growing discipline in product development. UX is being adopted by most web and app product managers, as well as many consumer goods manufacturers.

User Experience (UX) is a term for a customer’s overall satisfaction level when using any product or service. If using a product is a good experience, customers are happy. If using a product is a bad experience, customers are unhappy.

People who study and create user experiences with a particular product are called UX Designers. UX Designers watch customers experience a product, and then design improvements to increase customer satisfaction.

Brian Baker will lead a discussion on the definition of User Experience and provide insight into how ‘great UX’ can be applied to any product, whether it be a digital product like a website or an app, or a physical product like a backpack or a phone. With 19 years of experience on the topic, his talk promises to offer great insight on whatever you are building. In Brian’s words, 'every product should be a delight!'

So please come and learn how you can a great user experience product from one of the pioneers of the discipline!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
