When I had Labrador Retrievers I remember hearing about cold tails. I think it had to do with minimal nerve damage when it was really cold and the tails would just go limp. If anyone has seen a Labrador with a limp tail you know it's a very sad thing! It hasn't been that cold tho.

I've also had lottsa dogs of varying breeds that would to a "butt-tuck." Which to me means they tuck their tails close, pull hind-quarters close to their bellies... and just run like a crazy dog like a 2yo on speed for 30s or so. It's an absolute riot to watch.

Definitely need more input...
