Subject: [dachshund-427] The adventures of Trent

Over the weekend, Trent found something that he had lost.....
Trent is a very curious little man.
He was napping quietly on top of Georgie when suddenly only Trent hears something!
There's something in the corner and he must
investigate.
"Sorry, George, did I wake you? I heard something in the corner.... Did you hear it?"  (I think Georgie is rolling his eyes....  He's at least imploring me to help, but instead I take pix.)
Give me a leg up here George....
Just a little higher....(poor Georgie!)
I know I heard something....where did it go???  I don't see anything now that I'm up here....

Trent did find something he had lost, he found his bark in that corner.  He "oofed" and "oofed" at whatever was in the corner and has since gotten a little braver at sharing his opinion with the world.  Although he had howled--esp in the first few days--he hadn't barked at all until over the weekend.  Now he's decided the neighbors need to hear his voice.
It is a good sign that he's feeling more comfortable and confident around here.  Although another wild wiener bark coming from my yard doesn't make the mailman very happy....
Off to see what adventure we will have today! You never know with a house full of wieners! Have a good one.
