I thought. double dapple could only occur when two dapples were bred directly? I was hoping he was just a chocolate dapple. I haven't whelped a litter before so I don't know all the ins and outs of double dapples so I could be wrong.
They all sire are cute and mama looks more comfy with all those babies out of her tummy! Five is a good sized litter for a doxie; blessings they were born into rescue and not in a mill!

If I could just add to Cheri's statement . . . it is too bad we have to watch for that, due to irresponsible breeding.
One way or another he WILL be a happy puppy BECAUSE he is now in rescue and can go to a loving home.
