And I would like to add, the adults are further on their way to potty training...Trent hasn't had an accident since the beginning of July, and I blame that one on myself.  I was distracted and not paying attn to his signs.
I would guess Callie has got Peggy in pretty good shape, and Janeal has Alice well on her way to potty training, but I don't know for sure.
Mama Daisy is working on her potty training....she's had a rough start with 5 babies pushing on her bladder...

Hey Vicki - the next meetup I believe is September 14. They normally fall on the second Saturday of the month. We see you soon, I'm sure. :)

Betty, In my opinion I think many people are a little leary of the puppy mill background and unsure of the skittish behavior. Sometimes I find that easier to work with than an owner surrender. It's almost like you have a blank slate to work with. If a person realizes that it's a "slow and easy" process with a puppy mill dog they will have no problems. My Lizzy and Gretl were puppy mill dogs. It took them a couple of years to get to the point where they would approach my family and friends (who knew with my direction not to force themselves on the dogs). Now they are both loves and nudge each other out of the way for attention.

I would like to add, puppies are sweet but if you are not prepared they can be hell on wheels. It's fun to start with a puppy but sometimes less stressful to adopt an adult dog. ;)

Sandy, I appreciated your insight! Thank you.
