Wow, all that for only $250? I'm really glad they've helped Peanut.

I've now spent over $1100 in two days. I haven't taken him to Rockbrook yet. It's really far away since I live by the Base. The vets at Heartland are trying to stabilize him and then see what's going on.

Peanut has the same problem in her neck that most doxies have in their backs but effects her the same way. Dr. Ramm took the time to explain the xrays to me and really talked to me about what needed to be done and the costs.  Dr. Kyle does the acupuncture but she was very busy the day I went to pick Peanut up so I never did get to meet her or talk to her.

They kept Peanut overnight and did heavy duty steroid shots (4x's what the pills are), 3 rounds of laser therapy and 3 rounds of acupuncture. The whole overnight visit was $250. Peanut was walking when I picked her up. Continued the pain pills when needed and Mary's husband built her a ramp for the bed.  She hasn't had any problems since.  I have extra steroid pills and pain pills just in case. He told me it will come back.

I'm praying that they can work miracles for Max also.
