Happy Thursday!  Hang in there, the weekend is almost here!

Lindsey and Joey Bauer of our group have something exciting going on tonight!  They are going to be on HGTV's House Hunters (Cox ch 59), tonight (10/17) at 9 pm! I remember when they first were telling us that they were filming for the show...it seems so long ago! (I think back in Jan or Feb?)  It's finally ready for airing and will be on TONIGHT!  Grab the weens, some popcorn and watch the show.

I think Alfie makes his debut in the show.  I don't think they had adopted Brownie yet, though, we'll have to wait and see.  I love watching House Hunters--trying to guess which house the people will pick....  It will be even more fun when we know the people--and the wiener dog! :)

NHS is participating in Adopt-a-Palooza-ASPCA Match-a-thon

What does that mean?

This Saturday from 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. the Nebraska Humane Society will host Adopt-a-Palooza as part of the ASPCA's Mega Match-a-Thon weekend. During the event adoption fees for adult dogs and cats will be reduced, and every animal will leave with a collar, leash and pet tag.

• Adult dogs (age six months and up) will be 1/2 price
• Adult cats (age six months and up) will be FREE.
• Kittens will be $75 or two for the price of one!

The CB shelter has been full all week, too. If you know anyone looking for a dog, suggest they look over at CB.  They have a cute little doxie mix named Chewie. You have to see his ears!!!  For some reason, I can't load his pic right now.  Here's his link:
