His sweet face, looking so lost and empty. With a soft warm bath and kind words, his world will completely change to one of love and kindness. Never again will he be mistreated. His life is looking up!!!!! I loved my Gretel and she was blind, she enjoyed a car ride more than my dogs who can see. Her nose was to the wind and her ears back, as she smiled.

Jinga really does look so sweet.  You know how I love my dapple boys...
He probably suffers from Sudden acquired retinal degeneration syndrome (SARDS).  Here's a link to Wiki for more info.  It can happen to any dog at any time....

Most of you have met Beanie (and fallen in love with him!), Mom's blind dog.  It's amazing how quickly a blind dog can adapt to their surroundings and how easily they get around.  Yes, they run into furniture and walls sometimes.  A tree every now and then...  But they are every bit just as wonderful as a dog that can see.  Maybe even a little extra wonderful... ;)

An eight year old mill boy needs a foster home. Hands, Hearts & Paws here in Omaha are rescuing him. Once he's here they will get his eyes evaluated. First he needs a foster home.

If you are interested in fostering, work with Hands Hearts & Paws. A foster home needs to be approved via application, requested at [address removed]
