Dealing with the untimely death of a close family friend Friday and plans for today have now changed. Sorry to miss again.
Alan and I will attend with our 2 long haired minis, Rosie and Gretchen. Can't wait to see everyone!

Hey all! Haven't been active with this group in quite a while. I'm sure I have missed some great meet ups . Our baby Stewie went to "rainbow bridge" on July the 3rd at 4.5 years old:( .. Does anyone know we're we could meet another breeder? Our house is so empty with out our little doxie!

Oh so sorry
How about adopting from North American dachshund rescue? There were two handsome fellows that came in yesterday

Sherry firstly I am so very sorry to hear about your pup. You have my condolences. There is a Mid Atlantic Dachshund Rescue that my neighbors had an excellent experience with, and now have a lovely pup that is well suited to the household. If you want to go the breeder route though I can recommend Bells Doxies that is unfortunately far away on a farm in Utah, but he is wonderful! If you are looking for someone more local, I met a breeder up at the doxie races in Lewistown, PA who breeds English shaded cream minis. Her facility is in Emmittsburg, MD however. Her pups seemed very healthy and she was very aware of genetic issues with the breed. I have since lost her card, but if you google English cream doxie breeders in Emmitsburg, MD you should find her. Good luck to you.
So sorry for you loss. Please check out Marylanddachshundbreeders.com Also, Karen Campbell in White Post Virginia is where we found our Rosie[masked]-7601. Her blood lines come from a breeder that my family used growing up.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
