Thanksgiving for Meetups

  • November 28, 2013 · 2:00 PM

Few things are worse than spending Thanksgiving by yourself and many people cannot get home due to their jobs. I am offering to host a Thanksgiving dinner potluck at my home in south Bismarck. Members, friends, and family members are all welcome. I am inviting people from Dakota Adventurers, Bismarck Newcomers and Bismarck Social Club.

737 Munich Dr. Bismarck, ND 58504

I will be announcing the time later and what everyone wants to bring.

To find my home, go south on Washington. Turn west on Munich Dr. (it is one block south of Washington and Wachter, at Solhiem school) Go west for a couple of blocks and it is just before Munich Dr takes a hard right turn. It is a brown house with a large rock in the front yard.

OK here's what we have so far.. If Teresa and Heather would let Andrea do the green bean casserole we should be sitting pretty good. I have a good big screen TV for foot ball afterwards too.
    Me - turkey
    Sonya-stuffing and chocolate cake
    Dez-mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes
Theresa-pumpkin pie (don't forget the whipped cream)
Ashley-cornbread, corn casserole, relish,a dessert and drink
Heather- sausage stuffing, gravey deviled eggs, wine
    Michelle-wine
    Andrea-squash and green bean casserole
So are we are expecting 10-12 people

Anyone thinking about bringing anything else? Did I miss anything?

Thank you so much Brad for opening your home to this!
I am open to bringing anything - it looks like the green bean casserole and pumpkin pie are needed! I will bring those and some wine! And maybe a cute apron for you to celebrate your first turkey!!

Hey all. We need to work out who is bringing what. I will fix the Turkey (something I have not done before) Desiree is bringing mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes (yams). Another friend Sonja is bringing the stuffing and a chocolate cake type of dessert. What do you want to bring? Its ok to have multiple kinds of desserts and drinks, veggies etc. Can someone else bring the gravy? As of now we have 10-12 people coming. If you are a member of Bismarck Social Club, post what you are bringing there.

Thanks, Brad, for putting together this meaningful event. If I weren't already committed, I would have loved to have joined you. Have a great time!
