The discussion frequently deviated from the book, but the quality of the conversation was great! Two different Christian theologians participated, one with a master's degree, the other a graduate student. It was great to have a forum for engaging in polite and rational intellectual discourse with opposing viewpoints.

Conversation was well spread around the attendees, and very lively. I think this was an important book - not a literary quality one, but important nonetheless. I am thinking of contacting Mr. Faircloth and asking if I might be able to turn some of the better of his original quotes from this book into nicely designed posters.

I just bought the book... I love the cover... this is the first political book I have purchased in a while so I know what I have to go with the pool, some sun, a few Shiners in my Bubba Mug (Shhhhh... please don't tell anyone about that!) and maybe a burger at Jake's tomorrow... some good reading to get me all riled up for the meetup ;) Looking forward to meeting you all... or do Bubbas say ya'll?
