Dallas Great Books and Movies Club

Since forming this group one year ago, I have met such wonderful, smart, successful, kind, and witty people, and we have had so much fun together. Each month, we have about six meetings and do a variety of events: book reviews, movies, theater, ladies night, games night and trivia night. We have over 150 members and great reviews: 4.8 out of 5! If you want to meet some amazing friends from a variety of backgrounds, join our group and attend many events. When I first came to Dallas a year ago, I joined several meetup groups in the hope of developing close friendships. I found that it is almost impossible to form those close relationships if you join too many groups or don’t attend events, because no one gets to know you. This group has given me the opportunity to meet amazing people with all the above wonderful attributes and form those close friendships. Many of our members have had the same success and meet outside group events. This group is filled with extraordinary people that you will love, but you must attend more than one event to gain the true benefit of joining this group. Members are given the option of paying $6/year or giving a $1 donation per event to cover the website and group cost. The first event is free for new members.
