LPDC Marketing Committee Meeting

The meeting agenda is now posted at:

The first meeting was productive and well-attended. It was primarily a brainstorming session, so there needs to be further discussion on approaches and eventually choosing some courses of action. Much of the discussion was focused on using social media for outreach. A summary of the meeting is at:

We'll pickup from where we stopped at the last meeting. We are planning the followup meeting on Saturday, March 3, at 4:00. We'll meet again at the Corner Bakery at Preston and Forest (http://www.cornerbakerycafe.com/Locations.aspx?zip=75230 ). It has free WiFi (but no convenient power outlets).

A very good and productive meeting. The chair moved the meeting along, and got to all business and all questions in a timely fashion.

Extremely difficult to hear most of the conversations. With the overhead musac playing and most folks voices directed in an opposite direction, we couldn't hear very well. Once in a while we would get bits a pieces of information. Has it ever been considered holding the meetings elsewhere or in a setting where folks are facing each other in a round-table fashion? Maybe the Corner Bakery could be persuaded into turning the music off or down for a couple of hours. That would be a big help.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
