Gentle Yoga is a meditative and restorative practice. It is designed to relax your mind, increase energy and reduce stress. It also provides an approach so that every muscle and joint is slowly moved to give you the most benefit. This practice is nurturing, slow-paced and relaxing and is perfect for beginners and for experienced yogis who want to slow down and perfect their practice.
We are one of the first and largest Interfaith meditation centers in North Texas, home to Zen Buddhism, Insight Mindfulness (Vipassana), Thich Nhat Hanh (Interbeing Sangha), Amitabha (Pure Land) Chanting, Christian Meditation, Yoga, Qigong, and other authentic and genuine traditions of meditation and mindful living. "Awakening Heart" is our large main Community Meditation Service with teachings and discussion facilitated by Brother ChiSing every Sunday 5-7 pm. Beginners and visitors are always welcome. Numerous events and classes are held throughout the week and weekends.
This 6,000 square foot building is dedicated to wellness education, life enrichment and the art of mindful living. The DMC functions as home for the growing Dallas and Fort Worth community of mindfulness practitioners.
