Ready to deepen my knowledge & practice of being.
Yes & no. Took TM in '72, mantra has been in the background of my mind ever since. My practice of sitting is not now consistent. Have been mixing meditation with Religious Science treatment method. Tendency to sit consistently until everything is "too good", then let it go until I'm near the end of my rope, then start over roughly. Have read many methods and practiced many on my own. For a quick fix, the Energy Awareness Meditation on the free Thich Nat Hahn CD is very useful, but ready to go deeper without the crutch.

Phillip Van Garrick, aka Van. My yen for Buddhism began in H.S. study of the "Transcendentalists" as Emerson referred to the "beauty of Buddhism". A year in Thailand, 69&70, plus reading A. Watts & D.T. Suzuki was my foundation. Now deepening.
