What: We meet every Wednesday for a guided meditation and discussion. We practice Mindfulness Meditation (Vipassana) in the style of Shinzen Young. ALL are welcome!
The group is led by Anjali Patel. I’ve been a meditator since 2007 and been to several long meditation retreats and continue to study meditation through online retreats with Shinzen Young. No experience necessary.
Where: Bishop Arts District
When: Wednesday's from 7pm – 8:00pm (40 minutes meditation, 15 minutes for discussion/Q&A). Please try to arrive 5-10 minutes early.
What to bring: Comfortable clothing, a cushion/pillow, blanket or yoga mat to sit on.
Makes the bad things not so bad and the good things better.
Can help with changing destructive/compulsive behavior, anger and stress management, OCD, ADD, pain management, etc.
The group is free of charge.
