Swing Dancing at Sons of Hermann Hall

We'll be swing dancing at the Sons of Hermann Hall tonight. They have beginner lessons from 8p to 9p (Bill and I don't always go to the lesson so email me if you want us to go with you) the lessons start on time so get there a little early and then from 9p to midnight there is swing dancing. There is a good mix of people with a wide range of ages and all levels of dancing experience. You don't need to bring a partner as the lesson rotates partners. During the general dancing people are friendly and usually willing to dance with anyone who asks.

The Hall is on Elm St at Exposition. Apparently the local parking regulations are strictly enforced so be careful about parking and if you park in a metered spot, pay the meter as they are active until midnight.

The triangular parking lot across Elm from the Hall is now off limits - they'll tow you. You can still park for free in the Baylor parking lot that is across Exposition from the Hall.

The dancing is upstairs (no smoking) and there is a bar downstairs where smoking is allowed. The drinks are cheap and the bartender is a volunteer so tip well.

There is a $5 cover for the lessons/dancing.
