Shakespeare in the Park 7/10/09 The Merry Wives of Windsor

This is a great way for anyone who would like to see Shakespeare performed live to do so. This year's second offering by Shakespeare Dallas is The Merry Wives of Windsor. This is set in Windsor, TX and if Taming of the Shrew is anything to go by the western theme will work really well with this one too.

The play will begin at 8:15 but we get there early to get the best seating. We bring food and drink to share for a pre-play picnic. They allow low to the ground lawn chairs (you can rent them too) or you can bring a blanket to sit on. We will be in the Members only section (you can purchase a membership at the entrance for $40 for the year - 12 months from purchase).

To get to Samuell-Grand Park: From I-30, exit East Grand Avenue and travel a half-mile north to Tenison Parkway. Turn right onto Tenison Parkway and the Park entrance is on the right.
