Looks like there's a free rum bread pudding offer if you check in there with the Yelp app.

The winter weather advisory has been cancelled.

The weather is more than good enough for my getting to the meetup.
Shhh...don't tell. I want the crazies off the road tonight! :D
Actually, the advisory ended at 6p
Susan doesn't want me to drive this far tonight with the possible bad weather and I agree. See all of you next week.
Conflict arose. Enjoy
I'm out too, I'm not a good driver in fair weather:)
My fiance had a change of plans. And with the weather like this, probably better to stay home. I will try to go the next Tuesday night!
I missed my flight, I'll have to go through Denver and won't be home till midnight. Sorry :(
Did you know that Article 1 Section 4 of our Texas State Constitution expressly forbids any atheist from holding public office? I didn't and I find it shocking and disturbing. Anyone else bothered?
"No religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office, or public trust, in this State; nor shall any one be excluded from holding office on account of his religious sentiments, provided he acknowledge the existence of a Supreme Being."

I know that it's in there and I agree it's a bit of a slap in the face, but it's also unenforceable due to court rulings of "Torcaso v. Watkins" (1961) and "Silverman v. Campbell" (1997). See the Wikipedia article for more info and links to those cases: http://en.wikipedia.o...

Lots of unenforceable laws sit in the books, unused and unretracted.

I knew that David, I think that would not hold up if it went to a federal court. Matt Dillahunty has claimed that also.
No, I did not know that and yes, David, that bothers me quite a bit. Especially considering the Texas State Constitution was last amended November 5, 2013. I don't like Article 1 Section 6 much either.
"FREEDOM OF WORSHIP. All men have a natural and indefeasible right to worship Almighty God according to the dictates of their own consciences."
So do we or do we not have the right to worship ANYTHING? As long as it's the one true God (Zeus), I think they'll be okay with that.
Will be out of town. See y'all the 17th. Have fun.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
