From baptism as a teenager in Houston, it has been a long enjoyable struggle to the comfortable confines of Atheism. The reading, sourcing, and communicating of my beliefs have led me from this college student defending my agnosticism via Thomas Huxley to years of wandering about my life's challenges and "why God" to the welcomed certainty of a universe that is my home in and of its self; God not required or existent. This is my fun mnemonic, An Absurd Supremely Beautiful Joke, and everyone loves a good joke, right. I do not hold with the Bible or the New Testament story being the, "best story ever told". These writings must compete with all other writings and are not anymore sacred than any other. Sacredness is not bestowed by sayings or writings it is a 'mind' thing. My heroes are Prof. Bart Ehrman (Chapel Hill, N.C.), Richard Dawkins, and of course Christopher Hitchens. So, that is how I became an Atheist. A long journey well thought out. I love who I am.
Physics anyone! After all, it is an atheist's immutable ways of the universe.
Outstanding, and guaranteed not to stain your brain.
