I started having serious doubts about the existence of a god about 2yrs ago in my final semester of college. I was taking a classical mythology class. Being that I am from a small town, it was the first time that my indoctrination was challenged. I very quickly started seeing the inconsistencies of the religion I was told to believe. I also started finding reasons for a god to exist to be nonsense. I would say at this point I didn't believe in a god. After this I moved to TX for a research assistant position. I continued my investigation of arguments for and against god by watching debates. I recently found the Atheist Experience on YouTube, which has proved to be both entertaining and a useful tool. When I became an Atheist I felt that I was intellectually free.
Hi. I am a 23yr old female who is originally from a small town in Indiana. I grew up indoctrinated in Southern Baptist ideology.
