How/when did you become an atheist? [or agnostic, non-theist, freethinker, humanist, pagan, or whatever label you choose for yourself]

Introduction to Evolutionary Thought through Ernst Mayr, GG Simpson etc. This consequently branching off in to Bertrand Russell (the most approachable, realistic, and brilliant author I have familiarized myself with). I am (or will be in the Fall) a History Major at UNT in Denton so the aspects of Religious History sort of go hand-in-hand with that. It is amazing to me that this information is so readily available and undeniable and we still are inundated with confused individuals!

I have immersed myself over the last couple of years with studies in Evolutionary Theory and Religious History. These are 2 topics that apperantly no one I know gives a crap about!! I figured a more like-mided, intelligent group may better suit me.
