It's a pleasure to hang out with others who take the only life we'll ever live seriously (but not too seriously).
How/when did you become an atheist?
About age twenty I became convinced that the "eternal life" promised to Christians was cruel joke. It felt like a death sentence: "Upon a day I'll surely die -- then, shall I live again? Now let me rather live -- to kill me now would be a sin!"
