Makati in the Phillipines has lots of security to keep you safe. As a matter of fact, I saw lots of security in every city we traveled to.

Makati Phillipines has lots of American touches here. Hard Rock Cafe, California Pizza, Tony Romas, Chilli's, and a host of other establishments to make you feel right at home.

The party spills outside every evening at the Havana Cafe (Greenbelt Mall). DJ spins a lot of popular tunes for dancing on weekends. Latin dancing on some week nights.

Rizal Park in Manila is the coolest place to work out. It is totally safe for foreigners there. The park is large and has a gigantic swimming pool plaza in the center of the park. Couple can take a horse carriage ride around the park for $10.

Baclarat and Disoria (street Manila). Bad Ass!! Must take a guide for safety when shopping. This is where the flea market peeps get their goods for cheap. From sneakers and shoes to knock-off hand bags to wedding dresses. Dont trust the kids!!!

Lots of church chapel offerings to choose from. The Phillipines is very overwhelmingly Christian. There are some Islamics in about 5% percentage or less. Muslims are mostly way south of the main islands.

Best meal. Bayugan (in the province). Milkfish (also called Bangus fish) has a different taste that is as good as Tilapia. It has quite a few bones though.

Flew 300 miles outside the city to another island to Bayugan. Almost like being in the Carribean. Quite enchanting mountain countryside.
