Amazon presents Amazon Web Services

Amazon is coming to Dallas RUG to present Amazon Web Services.  Jeff Crawford of Amazon and his team are going to demonstrate the amazing abilities of Amazon Web Services and cloud computing.

From the Amazon AWS website...

Amazon Web Services offers a complete set of infrastructure and application services that enable you to run virtually everything in the cloud: from enterprise applications and big data projects to social games and mobile apps.

One of the key benefits of cloud computing is the opportunity to replace up-front capital infrastructure expenses with low variable costs that scale with your business.

More information can be found at http://aws.amazon.com/

Special thanks to Dallas RUG member Van for setting up the Amazon connection!

Please come by to network with fellow R users in the Dallas metroplex.

    R U Lunching?

In order to facilitate interaction among group members we will have an optional lunch after the meeting. We will have lunch at Pasand on Belt Line just north of 183 after the Saturday meetup:
    http://www.pasandrestaurant.com/irving.php

It is cheap, buffet, quick. Come and meet your fellow R meetup attendees and find out why none of them became supermodels.
