Arts & Letters Live - Neil Gaiman

http://dallasmuseumofart.org/Events/ArtsLettersLive/Special/index.htm

VIP Tickets are sold out. Individual tickets are $40 and couples tickets are $65. See above website for more info and buying tickets.

From the website:

At this event, he will discuss his body of work, as well as his new novel, The Ocean at the End of the Lane, his first adult novel in eight years. Wondrous and imaginative, and at times deeply scary, The Ocean at the End of the Lane captures the very essence of childhood fear and uncertainty. A clash of memory and reality, it is a pitched fever dream of a novel, and could very well be Gaiman's most accomplished work to date.

Gaiman has announced that this will be his final U.S. tour, so don't miss this rare opportunity to hear him speak!

Does anyone know how book signing order is going to be assigned? Is it ticket order or first come first served? I know VIP first, but his signings tend to last for hours and hours. I'd rather not be by myself in line.

I think I replied in time for the presigned book as well (this morning before 9 am). But according to the email, Mr Gaiman will sign any number of copies of his new book and only one other item. So technically we could pile all our new books on one person in line and the rest of us could go home after the reading. Any volunteers?

I am staying to have him sign my Good Omens book no matter what. I'd just like to not stay by myself with a stack of books.

So far his book signings for this tour have been running until 1am, according to his twitter feed. Not sure if anyone will be there or up for anything after.

Very excited for an opportunity to have my copy of Good Omens signed again (I got Terry Pratchett's autograph in it over 10 years ago)

I'm sure we can co-ordinate something. Also, it is very close to a DART Red/Green line stop at St. Paul.

Nathan, I've worked things out - thus my +1.

Changed to a +1 - bringing a friend along that adores Gaiman's works. Also - as of this morning if you are wanting "couples" seats it seems to be balcony only left.
