Hike at Cedar Ridge Preserve

NEW TIME - 8:00 AM! Hike with the Dallas Trekkers on the 1st Sunday of the month at Cedar Ridge Preserve, a not-for-profit, 633 acre natural habitat featuring 10 miles of hiking trails, a native plant nursery, butterfly gardens, and picnic areas. When hiking, always carry water and be aware of poison ivy. We will follow the trails up and down the limestone ridges that overlook Joe Pool Lake.

Hiking distances are very flexible depending on the trails you take.  Traditional distances are 5k (3.1 miles) or 10k (6.2 miles).

Driving directions:
NORTH/SOUTHBOUND on US-67. Exit at Danieldale RD and go West. After about 2 miles, Danieldale RD becomes Mountain Creek PKWY. Continue to the Cedar Ridge Preserve on the West side (LEFT) of the road.

EAST/WESTBOUND on I-20. Take Exit-458/ MOUNTAIN CREEK PKWY. Go South about 2 3/4 miles to the Cedar Ridge Preserve entrance.
