It was awesome. The audience participated in a lively discussion with the always animated j. Schuh. The best practices were a timely topic, as Dr. Susan Weinschenk has been positing a few articles about them leately.

I kept thinking I would make it as it got later and later. Then missed it. I am so disappointed. It sounded interesting, informative and entertaining all in one.

The ten items that Jay presented was great information and feedback. I really enjoyed his presentation and learned about a new codec H265 that is coming out!!

I was glad the question was asked about first-timers. I was surprised to see so many. I was only able to collect 1 story as to 'how they got there' (by way of Florida). Would love to hear more.

Nice to see a lot of new people at that event last night. Get the word out. And than you for speaking J. The number one thing I would use this presentation for is to prove point #10 don't autoplay videos!

    J. is such an engaging speaker! Funny, too. Yet, in spite of the funny stuff, there were some great suggestions!

    J. did a great job. Love his energy and his ability to show real gratitude for the efforts of others. He's very gracious...well, with a fine dose of 'irreverence' too.

I hope captioning would also be mentioned to make videos more accessible to those who need it? It is also part of best practices.

    1 · January 21, 2013

    • Brian S.

Hi Sveta, it is mentioned in the slides. I got to see peak of his deck a week ago. It is going to be a great presentation. You may have seen J. Schuh at Big Design 2012. He ran our film track.

      January 24, 2013

    • Sveta

That's wonderful! Thanks for sharing. Will his slides be posted online after the presentation?

      January 24, 2013

If you have not seen J. Schuh speak, you may want to come for the sheer entertainment value. He would be funny just reading a Shakespearean tragedy. Seriously, he has a background in psychology. He has built video games. He is working on a documentary now. You might have seen his work on Fox or Comedy Central. This talk is going to be some seriously, great fun!!!

    Looking forward!
