14 years ago, I took a few classes in Web design but was neither interested nor impressed with the designing for the web. But the internet has come a long was since then and creating (and experiencing) an interactive experience for the web is far more pleasurable and exciting since those dark ages. Simply put, the internet is a bigger and better playground now and I want to play in it!
Although I've only been playing code this summer, it has really filled my cup - far more than programming or fine art alone. I'm still processing why I feel so drawn to it and UX Design. The fact that we can communicate and connect with people and ideas without being hindered by geography - or even time - simply excites me. I'm also really fueled by the bigger questions and conversations centered around UX design, where we're going in a globally connected world, what the landscape of the internet will look like in the future.
