In this role, the User Experience Designer will work with the Product Managers, Development and Customers to create an intuitive and cohesive look, feel and overall user experience for our products.  This position will be responsible for updating the experience across a wide variety of platforms - from the web, to mobile devices and tablets, to a multitude of consumer electronics devices. The ideal candidate is a problem solver, quick study, self-starter and excellent communicator who possesses a passion for creating a great user.

More on what you will be doing:

·         Create clean, elegant, brilliant, user-centered designs based on customer feedback, business needs, and market research

·         Rapidly iterate through feature additions and updates, considering various use cases and user flows across different platforms

·         Lead and run usability testing and translate customer and focus group feedback into UI/UX enhancements and/or new features including navigation/usability.

·         Work closely with a cross-functional team that includes product managers, customers and development teams to create simple, easy-to-use interfaces.

·         Brainstorm, research, wireframe, design and refine user experiences - all within specified product requirements and deadlines.

·         Shepherd updates from inception to completion - from ideation, to design, to development, and through QA.

·         Deliverables include wireframes, workflow diagrams, interactive mockups and prototypes.

Curious to know what it takes?

·         Bachelor’s degree in Interactive Design, Computer Science or related; equivalent experience in lieu of degree may be considered.

·         Solid UI/UX experience transforming your designs into intuitive business applications.

·         Strong understanding of user-centered design methodologies, usability principles, and the ability to provide detailed specifications and style guides.

·         Experience working in a software development, Agile environment.

·         Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Axure, HTML5, and CSS.

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills.

·         Must be analytical, flexible, innovative, and self-motivated with great attention to detail.

·         Must be able to succeed in a dynamic team environment; strong interpersonal skills required.

·         Ability to work extended hours when needed.
