Learning to quilt is my newest passion! I come from a long line of fiber folks on both sides of the family. I learned all the needle arts from my mother and grandmothers. My maternal grandmother also taught me some basics of oil painting. Dad showed me that you can make just about anything with a few pieces of scrap wood and has also passed on some of his stained glass and solder skills.
This crafter goes way back to selling decorated shells from a table in the front yard when the neighbor kids were selling lemonade next door. I love to alter books, boxes and canvases, but spend most of my crafty time now at the sewing machine.
