Our regular location is now the Fuddruckers Restaurant on the southwest side of Frankford Road and Dallas North Tollway. They've got a large party room that can hold 72 people, a variety of food choices (not only "the world's best hamburgers") and excellent lighting.

Bring family, friends, and any board games that you'd like to play. I have reserved the room for 4 hours of fun!

We will not play any single game for more than 2 hours without unanimous approval of the players. A donation of $1 is requested to cover Meetup's fee. No smoking, gambling or alcoholic beverage is permitted.

Children are welcome provided that their parents bring games or toys to keep them occupied. Older children may play with the adults if no player objects. For more information about the restaurant, see

Sure, Marc! We play until 6 p.m., so come when you can. You may have to wait awhile for a game to end, however, before you can join in the fun. And some games can take a couple of hours to play.

Those interested in playing Warmachine HighCommand I'll be bringing a group hopefully to do some group games. Several 4 player games going. Then other fun games.

Does this mean I can't buy a beer from the restaurant while playing and patronizing?

What kinds of games you guys usually play? I know playing cards, canasta, poker, and others. You have card games?

Nope, at least not the regular playing card variety. As our group's name suggests, we play boardgames primarily, many of which are Euro-style (though American games are fine, too). Some games use tiles to assemble the "board" as you play (such as Tsuro). I make an exception for specialized card games (such as Munchkin), which are quite popular. The most popular game played at our meetups, I think, is Ticket to Ride. Come to a meetup and find out for yourself!

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
