Long Games (formerly Arkham Horror)

A session for playing long games that are hard to fit in at Fuddruckers. In the past we've usually played Arkham Horror, and I'll always make sure that game is available. But this session is open to any long game that people want to play.

Eventually, we will play the old Avalon Hill game Magic Realm.

I'm bringing Betrayal at House on the Hill. It is for 3 to 6 players. This game is a lot shorter than Talisman. I like it much better than some similar games. There are 50 scenarios. The haunt, or scenario, is determined by certain game conditions, not by the players. You explore rooms and gain items to strengthen your character before the haunt starts. The haunts (scenarios) differ a lot. Each player has more to do than in Mansions of Madness, for example. I think it takes about an hour to play.
Helaina and Shawn said they might come, but I think they would play something different.

Hey guys, I just ordered a copy of Talisman (as well as 3 big box and 4 small box expansions), a big ole fantasy adventure board game. It SHOULD arrive before next Saturday, so I wanted to see if you guys were interested?

Yes, I'd be interested in Talisman, I've recently been playing an iOS derivative of this game, interested in seeing the differences.

Update: my copy of Talisman HAS arrived, so it's definitely on for those who want to play! I'm going to try to get there a little early so I can set up the boards and all the decks so we'll be ready to play.

Let's play Betrayal at House on the Hill, Dark Horse, or Euphoria. If there are going to be 11 or 12 of us, we could play two or three different games.

We still usually congregate in that back-left area with the big tables, right? Haven't been the last few months.
