State Fair of Texas Prize Chicken Tour
The prize chickens will only be at the State Fair of Texas for one weekend for judging. We'll have a speaker or two for our group tour. Please meet in the Wine Garden outside the Poultry Building at 12:45 p.m. Our tour/talk begins at 1 p.m.
Tickets at the door are $15 each, unless you get discounted ones at other places such as grocery stores.

Wish I could have gone! A couple of years ago I was up at the Minnesota State Fair (which is amazing) during their poultry weekend. I was asking all the farmers there about chickens breeds and what I could keep in Dallas. They all thought I was crazy...lol..."You want to what? Keep chickens in the City? Why??". It was quite funny...
