Now that we have some nice weather we want to get outside and enjoy it!

Join us at Arbor Hills Nature Preserve in Plano for a picnic lunch and water bottle rocket launch.

We will meet at the pavilion near the playground to decorate and assemble our bottle rockets, eat our lunches and converse about life and such.

Please bring empty water bottles or 2 Liter soda bottles along with your picnic lunch.

We will have a few kites and frisbees and park toy things. But feel free to bring your own.

This park is a lovely place for hiking and exploring. And the playground is outstanding!

Those rocket launchers are the coolest thing EVER. Thanks, Dan, for making our day super cool! Did you see how everyone at the park wished they were our friends? ;o)

Excellent meetup! My son, who usually wants to leave early, was playing the whole time! I really appreciate all the preparation that Dan put into this event. We have a great group and it is always nice to get together. Looking forward to the next one!

This was a great theme for a meet up! Awesome! I had two couples stop me when we were leaving to ask how the launch gizmo was made.

I think I only left one behind that looks like the Texas flag. See you soon!

Safety note: these launch with a lot of power. Please tell your kiddos to absolutely not stand over the launcher. No permanent harm would come, but it sure won't feel good, and we don't need any tears. Young kids may have trouble building enough pressure on their own to launch, older kids make great assistants, or parents join the fun and get a little wet. (There won't be a lot of water for anyone to get soaked, but I'll have a couple towels because there is something about kids and water...). Also, bright, sunny day - don't forget sunscreen. See everyone in a few hours!

I rescued a huge bag of water bottles from recycling and cleaned with a little bleach water, so we have plenty. Bring your own to experiment with different sizes!

I'm going to rsvp, but there's a small chance I might not be able to make it (depending on circumstances tomorrow). Hopefully we'll get to see everyone! :)

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
