Brights at the Beach

It's the first day of Summer! Lets celebrate by going to the beach! Little Elm Park has a small beach that is perfect for families.

From the website:

"Located along the western shoreline of Little Elm Park, the public Swim Beach provides swimmers a safe enclosed sand beach area that does not allow boat traffic.
The beach is an open sand play area and the Town of Little Elm requests users to follow the posted rules. There is NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY; please do not leave children unattended. No pets or glass containers are allowed on the beach."

The cost is $3 per car to park near the beach. Bring your lunch or buy one there. The concession stand, Lighthouse Grill, has hot dogs, burgers, chips. etc. for very reasonable prices.

So pack up your towels, sunscreen, beach toys and floaties and let's meetup at the beach!

Our family had a nice time at the beach. It looks like Little Elm has expanded the beach area since previous years and it looked like construction was going on for further improvements. Sadly though, if other Bright families attended, they could not be located. :(
