Discovering Science and Math using Art!  (S.M.Art!)

Apple prints are easy to do and show symmetry in nature.

The apple shows both bilateral symmetry (cut from top to bottom) and radial symmetry (star shape seen cut sideways)

We will also be exploring texture and doing some leaf rubbings with crayons.

Kids will have a lot of fun at this meetup and get to make a picture to take home!

Cindy, I, too, immediately thought of the pregnancy thing with Paige's comment! Haha.

I have an ultrasound I had to reschedule for tomorrow, so I'll either be about an hour late or not make it. Which means I'll have to eat the thumbprint cookies I bought all by myself. So I hope that doesn't happen. ;)

I'll bring some fruit and other wheat free snacks again. We may be a little late as Amara has an appt prior
