Brainstorming on Crypto-Digests and Relational Databases

John Scott, from Dallas, will present "Brainstorming on Crypto-Digests and Relational Databases."

"Some techniques and observations on using digests as keys in relational database schemas. Group discussion encouraged."

John has been writing relational database driven applications since 1984, starting with Britton-Lee Database Machines in Los Gatos, California, for oil and gas industry and, in 2000, PostgreSQL and SleepyCat for high performance routing applications for several major telecommunications companies.

He also was a founding partner of, a regional ISP based in Dallas and sold to MobilePro in 2006.

Currently developing software driven by PostgreSQL for carrier grade, critical telemetry/messaging infrastructure used by approximately 1 million devices across the United States.
