Do you currently practice meditation, or is this a subject that you would like to learn more about?

I practice daily (well...almost), using mindfulness meditation (shamatha) that closely resembles Zen meditation, as well as some vajrayana methods. Sometimes I use other techniques for specific purposes, like developing compassion.


I've been meditating regularly since 2003 with the Dallas Shambhala Meditation Center, a Tibetan Buddhist group welcoming Buddhists and non-Buddhists alike. I'm qualified to teach beginning-intermedia­te meditation.
