There are a bunch of new events scheduled on the calendar & instead of emailing each individually, I thought I'd send out ONE email! (Meetup will continue to send out reminders though!)
This weekend is Dog Days of Denton, lots of vendors and dog contests...
June 10th - Wrap & Wag party at Tootsies - please RSVP on meetup AND Email the address listed. Bring your pugs - there will be raffles and treats!
June 13th - the Canine Cool Drool at Sue Ellens benefitting Operation Kindness
June 26th - Howlin Hawaiian Luau at Foxy Paws - many of you went to this last year & had a great time! Dress your pug in a bathing suit & compete for prizes!
June 27th - Monthly meetup at Lewisville Dog Park - this park was very impressive and well maintained! Take business 121 to Valley Ridge... we'll be in the small dog park - bring water bowls!
June 29th - Yappy Hour at Blue Mesa in Plano off 121 / Dallas N Tollway - always a fun event benefiting Operation Kindness... bring your pugs out on the patio for free quesadillas and chips and drink specials!
If you have any ideas for a meetup, please let me know. It is getting hot and unfortunately I was notified today that Unleashed Indoor Dog Parks is closing its doors next weekend. (Very sad about this!) So we might need to get creative so our little pugs don't overheat! I bought some cooling collars on Amazon.com for $10 - they seem to help. They are made by Kyjen and you soak them for 30 min and can even put them in your fridge. They last for about an hour and a half. Sorry for this being so long, hope to see you all at a meetup very soon! Check the calendar and RSVP! :)

A Woman Owned Business run by Pugs!
Our active Pugs meet for fun, exercise and socialization on both a monthly and weekly basis.
So what benefits do our members enjoy? Members have access to our message board, all of our public events, notifications from the Organizer regarding Pug diet & health alerts; internal rescue and adoption between group members; plus educational information on showing and breeding your Pug.
Because running a dog group is hard work and it always results in Pugs being dumped on our doorstep, we ask that you kindly donate $20.00 or an amount of your choice upon joining. (email@example.com) Your generosity enables your organizer and asst. organizers to care for surrendered Pugs while we diligently screen group members for the right home. Our organizers foster about 12 dogs a year. Your Organizer pays for their medical treatment out of her pocket, while fosters pay for their food. We'd love to hear from you if you are available to help with fostering or public education (see DallasPugs.org.)
Thanks for joining. We look forward to meeting you!!!
