What are Super Herbal Elixirs?

Tonic herbs (aka “superherbs”): an essential food group long forgotten in modern cultures, yet considered to be one of the most important aspects of health maintenance by many ancient cultures for many thousands of years – the Chinese/Daoist & Ayurvedic herbal traditions (and others) had complex herbal classification systems, which were centered around groups of herbs called “Tonics”.

What makes tonic herbs different than other herbs is they are safe to consume daily for one's entire life, like nourishing foods, because they have very low amounts of tannins, AND  contain high amounts of deeply rejuvenating and adaptogenic components that make them superior to other herbs and most foods for nourishing our bodies and promoting radiant health and longevity.

Our Class Agenda

In this class, you will learn how to use tonic herbs in delicious elixirs – refreshing and nourishing drinks that are easy to digest and full of the rare nutrients found in superfoods and tonic herbs. You can actually LIVE on these drinks for long periods of time, and doing this is the optimal way to cleanse your body while simultaneously building up your nutrient reserves, rather than depleting them like most cleanses or cleansing diets can do, especially if done often and/or long term.  (I wish I had known that 10 years ago!!!)

*~ First, we will go over the “how to” of making herbal infusions and decoctions (the “teas” of superheroes!), which are our favorite ways to prepare tonic and nourishing herbs.

*~ After we've made our rich, powerful teas, we will go a step further by then blending in nutrient-rich foods and superfoods, transforming the teas into creamy, satisfying drinks you can use as supercharged meal replacements!

*~ We will demonstrate and sample out 6 different elixir recipes. You will also learn the essential components of elixirs, so you can begin to improvise your own drinks!

*~ After class, you will receive an e-mail with all the information and recipes from our class, plus many more elixir recipes we didn't have time to make and sample during class!

These elixirs are powerful fortifiers of your immune system, energy, brain function and mental power, spiritual development, fertility, and helping you live a long and amazing life!  All that, and once you learn the basics we'll teach you in this class, they are EASY to make daily!

Let your medicine be your food, in the most delicious way possible!!

Many health experts and saying that you never juice vegetables and fruits together. However I see the most popular ones like Jay K. the juice man, Dan McDonald and David Wolf juice fruits and vegetables together. I am still learning about this one. I just bought a Blendtec blender and the REP. that sold it to me said "never juice fruits and vegetables together." I don't see the harm but would like a straight answer.

Pat: removing the fiber (by juicing) reduces or eliminates some of the common fruit and veggie food combining guidelines. If you blended carrots and apples and drank that (blending leaves the fiber in), it probably wouldn't digest so well :) A bigger problem than that with carrot-apple juice is just that it's SUPER sweet, but even that depends on where someone is coming from, and if someone is used to drinking sugary sodas, it will certainly be an upgrade. When someone can start adding things like green leafy vegetables, celery, and/or cucumbers to the carrot-apple combo, that adds minerals and lowers the sugar content, and is a much better long-term juicing combination.
