In our introductory session, we'll cover optimum nutrition, hunger satiation, and quenching cravings using nature's bounty in its unadulterated state. You'll also learn some basic techniques for preparing raw foods, and receive some recipes to get you started on your adventures. Then you'll have the information required to make your own choices and proceed forward with more research (whether inner and outer), and experiential learning in your kitchen.
The flavors, textures, and synergistic combinations of ingredients are amazingly diverse in the verdant plant world. I find people who become interested in raw foods are really just beginning on a journey of massively increasing the variety of foods they eat, and thereby increasing their innate knowledge of the planet we live on. The closer we eat to the source of life, the more attuned we become to the harmony of the Universe, and how this symphony expresses itself on our Earth. This process increases our awareness of our purpose and potential.
This is part 1 of a 2-part Raw Nutrition workshop. Part 2 is on Cleansing & Detoxification, and begins half an hour after part 1. You are welcome to attend just one, or both! Class investment is $30 for one class, or $45 for both. I am also open to partial or full barters (contact me for details).
Enjoy your springtime, the most naturally powerful time of the year for diet upgrades & cleansing!
~ Isaac Clay
When I first read about “the raw food diet”, I intuitively knew that something about it rang deeply true for me, and my life changed in a moment. I began my “raw food” journey with cleansing programs, eventually discovering the power of superfoods and tonic herbs. Over the years I have distilled the essence of humanity's true relationship with the plant mind, and what I share in my educational sessions is ultimately about helping you to discover what your next best step in life is, and how to arrive there with enthusiasm and joy. It is the process I follow for myself, and it is a timeless and ancient method.
