WWOOFing Discussion with Castle Hill of Earth School Enterprises

WWOOFers generally work 4 hours a day and get a place to pitch a tent, some education on the practices of the farm, and organic food. Sometimes WWOOFers are paid. It's a nice way to travel the world, eat good food, and associate with others with Permaculture ethics.

Castle Hill is the owner of Earth School Enterprises, a spiritual education facility and wellness center. Earth School, the facility, was named after Earth School, the book Castle wrote shortly after returning from a year of WWOOFing. Before farming, Castle was interested in and involved with spirituality and healing on all levels. His spiritual guidance told him to sell all his belongings and prepare for a life changing journey. He followed that guidance and what happened next was totally unexpected by him. In this discussion he will share his stories from his WWOOFing adventures and how they changed his life forever. In one year he worked on two farms and visited eight. Afterward, his views on sustainable living, eating healthy, and spirituality were forever changed. He will share about his experiences with different farming methods, spiritual connections to plants/Gaia and health impacts that were all learned through his WWOOFing adventure.

This will be a fantastic talk for anyone thinking of doing WWOOFing, or anyone interested in organic farming.
