Low maintenance gardening, organics that don't get eaten by bugs, winning the berry war vs the local bird population, fruits and veggies you don't often find in the grocery store.
I have about 10 berry bushes in self watering pots, connected to my sprinkler system.
Moderately. I'm not sitting on a water source, so I have to use municipal water. When I think of self-sufficiency, I think "off the grid", and without that, it's more about enjoyment.
Howdy, I'm David. I have limited experience with gardening, having played around with hydroponic veggies (they died after the GFI threw during a thunderstorm while I was out of town!) and self watering pots for fruits. Looking to learn more!
