Dr. Charlie ruby c/o Anita,

I am an experienced designer and installer

If you need references I can give you several small farms that

That I am actively involved with in both design consultation and hands on work

As far as chef, both my husband and I prepared vegan food on a regular basis

We could teach on a part time basis but we have a city farm we run in Fort Worth

And currently are developing an edible forest with children on a small plot in the city

Oddly enough we too want to help the obesity problem among children

We may even think about collaboration in raising funds.

We do have a grant writer working with us as well.

I have cc my partner, Dr. Mayme Richie Gillespie who is passionate about seeing positive health reform.

I would love to set up a telephone interview to begin with if you are interested

Let me know either by phone[masked] or email

It is not our practice to advertise positions BUT this individual has a unique offering - both for wellness and is in need of permaculture expertise. I urge you to contact him directl if you are interested, or know of someone who would fill the bill.

Thank you for your indulgence, and I include his message to me below,

Your chief organizer, Anita

I am a family practice physician practicing in Midlothian, Texas. I am starting a wellness center specializing in organic vegetarian health treatment for patients suffering from chronic heart disease, diabetes and obesity.
I am looking for an organic permaculture gardener who might be interested in a position helping to design and develop an organic permaculture, edible forest design, garden. I have a 13 acre site located in Midlothian, Texas. The position would be part time until the garden is productive enough to support a full time position. Funds for the project are available but limited. I have the facility, and equipment and a good start but I need expertise in organic gardening. I am proposing to construct a large geodesic grow dome and an assortment of other gardens and greenhouses as needed. I am also dabbling in aquaponics. It would be beneficial if the person was vegetarian and experienced in vegan cooking. This might lead into a full time position faster as I am also looking for an experienced vegan chef or cook to instruct patients in shopping, growing and preparing their own vegetarian food. If you know of anyone who might fit this bill, please contact me:
