There seems to be some confusion about the Permaculture class starting on November 9 in Greenville and the certificate(s) you will be awarded. So please let me set the record straight.
The Permaculture Design Certificate course is a seventy-two hour training experience. Students who complete the full curriculum and all projects earn the internationally recognized Permaculture Design Certificate. It provides an introduction to Permaculture design as set forth by the movement’s co-founder Bill Mollison.
So, yes, this is a Permaculture Design Certificate Course and if you complete the work we will give you the Permaculture Design Certificate at the end of the class.
There is an early-bird special discount of $100 ($275.00 total fee instead of $375.00) if you both register and pay for the class by August 15th. You can find information to do this at http://cyberparent.com/dfw/class/
The course covers the application of Permaculture ethics and principles to a wide variety of sustainable living systems which include perennial food production, natural building, home design & construction, energy conservation and generation, harvesting and controlling water, plus the social and economic structures which care for the planet and its inhabitants, This is accomplished thru lectures, projects, student participation, review, hands-on experiences, tours, and student design.
But that is not all. Besides the training for a Permaculture Design Certificate, this class goes further into sustainability, renewable energy, and living off grid, it is spaced to allow maximum knowledge retention and time for additional projects such as the design of a temperate-climate food forest. There will be an additional certificate awarded for completing the Sustainable Living portion of the course.
Class is taught by five Permaculture Certificate holders who are quite experienced in the subjects they instruct plus a few outside experts in their fields.
Hope you can take the class with us,
