We are going to add a little twist to this Dance lesson event by featuring two different Latin Dance lessons for the same night featuring Salsa and the Mambo dance lessons.
The Salsa and Mambo are similar enough that it shouldn't be too difficult transitioning from one lesson to the other. We are featuring both lessons to give members a feel of the two different dance styles so they can get a greater taste of the different Latin dance styles.
Please Arrive by no later than: 6:45 pm

Second Lesson: Beginner Mambo starts approximately: 7:50 pm
Followed by 1 hour Open dance where Latin music will be played for the group to practice what they've learned: 8:35 to 9:35 pm
Ending with Open dance on the big dance floor: Assorted dance styles and music will occur during this part of the open dance session: 9:35 to 11 pm

Comfortable, dance appropriate attire.
Shoes need to be dry
(since it is a wooden dance floor) so many wear one pair of shoes or boots coming in from the outdoors and change into a dry pair of shoes for the dance floor. Please do not wear flip flops, or anything with a tread. You would want to wear shoes with a smooth sole so you can easily make your turns and ladies you would want shoes that have a secure ankle strap or slip on that fits comfortable yet snugly to provide a stable ankle when dancing.
To get an idea of how the basic Salsa and basic Mambo looks, below are a few YouTube video's:
Please RSVP asap, if you think you can make it so I can let the owner of Moveir know approximately how many to expect so they can determine how many instructors are needed.
