Everyone's favorite debate question: Do you prefer dancing to a live band, or dancing to DJ music?

Live bands are great, but sometimes they play the songs faster than they need to be played. DJ music is great because you can count on the music being the appropriate speed.

Do you have any dance goals you would like to shoot for?

I would like to learn to ;earn latin dances and some lindy.

What are your favorite songs (or music) to dance to, if any?

R/b, blues, rock/roll for east coast, hustle, some of the newer artists are good for w/c or hustle.

What kind of dance background do you have, or how long have you been dancing?

I have been dancing for about 15 years. I've taken many lessons in w/c, e/c swing, hustle, and a little salsa.

What is your favorite type of dancing?

I love to dance to blues, r/b, hustle, east coast swing, and can do a little salsa, cha-cha.

Introduction

My dance partner moved to North Carolina so I need to know where to go to dance and feel confident there will be other dancers out, too.
